Welcome to Andy's Pages

I guess I'll kick off with a bit of a diary. I'm only really going to put stuff in here that's of interest (to me!), and the main driving force for this is something to take my mind of my missing tonsil. But who knows, I may put other stuff up too!

Andy's Diary

27 Sep 2002 This is the year I turned forty a group of friends popped out to Munich for a quiet Weekend and some fool brought a camera. I ask you! Worse than that, he put the piccies on the internet. This is actually a small subset of the total number of pictures but they convey the general trend
19 May 2003 Here's the story of my lonely tonsil some of the piccies are quite large 'cos I con't have the talent, time, inclination, & perhaps most importantly, software, to slim the suckers down ...

One of the things I like to do sometimes is to go and see bands, and in doing this one sometimes comes across new outfits that are worthy of mention. Especially if there are members of the band who are related, or who just happen to be mates of mates. Obviously, there's some merit involved in getting on this list too, and they are all great live. Their websites usually have free tunes for your downloading pleasure, and are also the place to watch to know when they're next going to be playing.

Andy's Band Watch

The Mighty Uptight An excellent Leeds based band who have played a couple of London gigs playing their Garage Rock (New Mod) sounds to eager crowds at various scooter festivals and also getting air time on the East Coast of the USA
Bullet Galloway The most excellent Bullets play regularly in and around the North London pub scene, sometimes venturing as far south as the Oxford Street area.
Frank The Cat This 10 piece band play mostly covers but are a blinding night out if you want to dance to Commitments, Wilson Picket style tunes. It is a night you will not forget!
